Pulse Urgent Care Center was founded in 2010 by a group of local physicians to fill a growing need of the community for walk-in and urgent medical care. Since then, it has steadily grown and built an impeccable reputation in Shasta County. Our center has established itself as the premier provider of walk in health care and well care in the north state. We are also the chosen provider of employee health and occupational health services for most of the major employers in the area.
In June 2016, we moved into a much bigger and completely remodeled facility at 100 east Cypress Street. This facility is in the center of Redding with easy access from all directions.

Although your primary care physician should be your first contact for your health needs, primary physicians are often busy and may find it difficult to give a same day appointment. At Pulse Urgent Care, we provide you with a lower-cost alternative to visiting a hospital emergency room. We promise you excellent care in a comfortable urgent care setting. We have a digital X-ray and a lab on-site. Our average door-to-door times are usually under one hour (compared with a wait of several hours at an emergency room)
